The calm way to organise a digital life
Keep what matters. Ready for what's next.
Kistkeep is a digital legacy and estate-planning app: a secure vault for your documents, passwords, and memories, with controlled access for the trusted contacts you choose.
Most people have twenty or thirty accounts scattered across email providers, banks, and subscriptions, and none of it is written down anywhere. Kistkeep brings it all into one place.

Why Kistkeep exists
Because the hardest part is not knowing.
Most of us keep the important things in our heads, on bits of paper, or scattered across a dozen apps. If something happened tomorrow, would your family know what you wanted, what mattered, or where to look?
It's not usually one big secret that causes problems, it's dozens of small ones: which bank the mortgage is with, whether there's a life insurance policy and who the provider is, what the executor needs to know about a business you part-own, where the passport and property deeds are kept. None of that is dramatic on its own, but all of it together is exactly the kind of thing that turns a difficult week into a genuinely awful one when nobody can find it.
Kistkeep exists so that gap never has to be filled by guesswork, old email threads, or a locked filing cabinet nobody has the key to.
Protect what mattersWhat is Kistkeep
Your digital legacy vault.
Kistkeep is a secure place that lets you leave more than information, you leave clarity. Documents, passwords, memories, and personal messages, safely organised and ready for the people you choose.
It's built around a simple idea: the practical and the personal shouldn't live in different systems. The same vault that holds your passport scan and your life insurance policy also holds the voice note you want your daughter to hear on her wedding day, and the instructions for who gets your grandmother's ring.

Four steps, and you're not starting from scratch again.
01
Create your vault
Sign up free, no card required. Set a strong password for your account, and if you're storing sensitive credentials, a separate passphrase for the zero-knowledge Passwords module.
02
Add what matters
Upload documents, log passwords, note down accounts and subscriptions, and record the memories and messages you want kept. Kistkeep organises everything by category as you go.
03
Name your trusted contacts
Add the people who should have access, and decide what each of them can see and under what condition, some now, some only once your account is confirmed memorialised.
04
Live your life, come back when you need to
That's it. Update your vault whenever things change. Everything stays exactly where you left it, ready the moment it's needed.
Why this matters more than people think.
Digital legacy planning is a genuinely new problem. A generation ago, "getting your affairs in order" meant a will, a filing cabinet, and a solicitor's letter. Today it means dozens of logins, accounts spread across companies that don't talk to each other, and assets that have no physical form at all.

What makes Kistkeep different
Not just another shared spreadsheet with a lock on it.
Messages that arrive when they should, not just when you're gone
Most digital legacy tools send one broadcast message to everyone on a fixed date. Kistkeep lets you set a different trigger for each recipient, a birthday, an anniversary, a specific life event, or memorialisation, so the right words reach the right person at the right moment.
Subscriptions that cancel themselves
Pre-authorise the cancellation of accounts and subscriptions you no longer want running once your vault is memorialised. Nobody in your family should have to spend an afternoon on hold with a phone provider while they're grieving.
Threshold protection for your highest-value secrets
For things like a crypto seed phrase, split the secret across several trusted people using threshold cryptography, so no single contact can access it alone, but the group together can, once the condition you set is met.
A continuity guarantee, not just a promise
Digital legacy services have shut down before, taking families' data with them. Kistkeep is built around guaranteed data export and a continuity structure from day one, so your vault outlasts any single company's fortunes.
